Release and Waiver of Liability

I understand that dog training and boarding is not without risk to me, members of my family, guests who may participate at my request, and my dog(s). By nature, dogs can be unpredictable.  The training environment and the activities handlers engage in (for example, running, leash holding, unfamiliar terrain) also have the potential to have some hazards. 

Some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be a cause of injury. 

 

I hereby waive, release and agree to hold Spaw Blue Incorporated and the instructor(s) of this class, staff and/or volunteers harmless for any claims resulting from loss or injury caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by my actions or the actions of my dog while in or upon the training area, near the entrance thereof or participating in any program offered. I personally assume all liability for any such claim. I further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless for any claim of damage or injury to my dog, myself and members of my family or guests who are participating at my request, regardless of cause.  This includes but is not limited to, any injury or damage resulting from the action of said dog, or any other dog. 

 

I understand that my dog will be exposed to other dogs in the class. As a preventative measure, I have provided Spaw Blue Inc. with a copy of my record of vaccination. I understand that no dogs will be allowed entrance to a class without a record of appropriate vaccinations record on file with Spaw Blue.

No exceptions will be made. I personally assume the responsibility for any and all veterinary care necessary for my dog as a result of our participation. 

 

In addition, I agree to hold harmless, indemnify, and defend Spaw Blue Inc. its officers, directors, instructors, agents, volunteers employees and/or representatives from any and all claims brought by third parties, including but not limited to any dog handlers or dogs, whether sponsored by me or not, arising out of my own actions or the actions of my dog(s).
